Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Contingency 2019

Exposure of the brand to this group of anglers is important to Cabela’s because they will continue the legacy and traditions of the outdoors.  This group is on the verge of having discretionary income and by showing support for the events they participate in we can create loyal customers as they create the next wave of future anglers.

 

Cabela’s Collegiate Angler Contingency Program

By providing a contingency program for the college anglers, we can get Cabela’s top fishing gear in their hands, gain exposure through their social media posts and mentions/pictures/exposure of the program in front of the other anglers, live stream and TV show.

 

2019 Events

  • Texas Lunker Challenge – Sam Rayburn – February 3, 2019
  • Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash – Kentucky Lake – March 9-10, 2019
  • BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship – Pickwick Lake – May 23-24, 2019

 

Criteria to Qualify

  • 50 Collegiate Teams to sign up and be selected to be a part of Team Cabela’s for the tournament season.
  • Must wear the provided Cabela’s hat during tournament weekend and across the weigh-in stage.
  • Use #TeamCabelas across all social media postings, personal and team accounts, between 10/1/18-5/25/19.

 

Regular Event Gear Packages

Top 3

  • Teams must meet all criteria plus place in top three, to qualify to earn the following gear package:
    • Both anglers to receive PFD and Bass Pro Rod and Reel combo,

Top 10 (up to $1,000 Cabela’s gear per team)

  • Teams must meet all criteria plus place in top ten, to qualify to earn the following gear package. Can only win Top 3 or Top 10 Gear packages.
    • Both anglers to receive Bass Pro rod and reel combo.

Championship Event Gear Packages

Top 3 (up to $2,500 gear per team)

  • Teams must meet all criteria plus place in top three, to qualify to earn the following gear package:
    • Both anglers to receive full set of Rainwear Outerwear, PFD and Bass Pro Rod and Reel combo,

Top 10 (up to $1,000 Cabela’s gear per team)

  • Teams must meet all criteria plus place in top ten, to qualify to earn the following gear package. Can only win Top 3 or Top 10 Gear packages.
    • Both anglers to receive Bass Pro rod and reel combo and PFD.

Top 20 (up to $500 Cabela’s gear per team)

  • Teams must meet all criteria plus place in top ten, to qualify to earn the following gear package. Can only win Top 3, Top 10 or Top 20 gear packages.
    • Both anglers per college team, who qualify in Top 20, receive Bass Pro rod and reel combo.
