Dalton Kelly from Murray State University wins Day 2 Session 3 presented by Bass Pro Shops and takes home overall 1st place at the Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley.

The winner of Day 2 Session 3 presented by Bass Pro Shops will receive a $1,000 Bass Pro Shops gift card, Abu Garcia Revo Ike Spinning Reel, and an Abu Garcia Veritas rod.

Griffin Fernandes just weighed in the first fish of Session 3 presented by Bass Pro Shops.  The Adrian College angler takes over the top spot for this hour and is the Overall Leader of the tournament with 5.49 lbs.

Today’s conditions are presenting blue bird skies and textbook post frontal weather.  This presents a scenario where finesse techniques could be a real key to getting bites.  The Berkley Hit Worm Magnum is one great Powerbait MaxScent soft plastic to keep any eye on as the day progresses.  It possesses a finesse profile that big fish will absolutely fall for.

One of our camera crew members recently pulled up on an Adrian College team that caught a 4 pound class fish.  It will take one pushing nearly five pounds to overtake the lead.  We will see how it fares when they make their way to weigh-in today.

Anglers are allowed to use only Berkley baits during competition today.  One bait that is seeing a lot of action is the Power Swimmer.  Some anglers received these as part of their swag bags at the beginning of this weekend’s event.

Good morning from Day 2 of the Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley!  An overall winner will be crowned at the end of competition today.  Anglers are allowed to use only Berkley products while out on the water.  In 2019, the winning fish was caught on this same day using a Berkley Power Swimmer.  What might the winning bait be this year?  We’ll find out soon enough!
