Good morning from Florence, AL for the 2019 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops!  A full field of college anglers are here in northwest Alabama to compete on Pickwick Lake for this two day event.

The live blog will be your source for everything you need to know during championship week.  With coverage starting today and running up until the final weigh-in on Friday, we will have coverage of numerous news and events throughout the week.  Be sure to check back to the website for more blog updates, and follow our various social media channels for other great content!

Pictured above is Lucas Harrison from the University of Kentucky with a quality smallmouth from the first day of practice.  Pickwick Lake has a healthy smallmouth population that really shows out during the spring months.  They will also show up in the summer out on the ledges, and can really help anchor a solid bag come tournament time.
