Texas Lunker Challenge presented by Mossy Oak Elements

“Exact Weight” Bonus Prizes at Texas Lunker Challenge Presented by Mossy Oak Elements

HydroWave and Mustang Survival Give Prizes for “Exact Weight” Catches!

Sam Rayburn Reservoir will play host to the 1st ever Texas Lunker Challenge presented by Mossy Oak Elements on February 11, 2018.  The newest event to the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing TxLC_Mossy Oak ElementsSeries will feature college anglers from around the nation vying for not only their share of $20,000 in prizes, but also valuable points toward the most prestigious and hardest title to win in college fishing, the Cabela’s School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.

To earn points towards the Cabela’s School of Year race, each angler will fish a full day and then weigh-in their single best catch of the day. Every fish weighed-in will be ranked, with points awarded to the top two fish per school, and will count towards the Cabela’s School of the Year race. With 500 points on the line for 1st place, all anglers are encouraged to weigh-in their fish for the standings, as each school’s top two fish will earn points. Should any of those fish weigh exactly 2.00, 3.00, 4.00, 5.00 or 6.00 pounds, that angler will win a bonus prize, as well as be eligible to win one of forty (40) other prizes for the top finishers.
