2018 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Location and Dates Announced

The Association of Collegiate Anglers and the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series are proud to announce that we will be returning to Lake Pickwick in Florence, Alabama for the 2018 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Cabela’s. In addition to the 2018 event, the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series and Florence/Lauderdale Tourism have also agreed to a long term commitment to continue to host this great event at this world class destination for years to come.

“Florence/Lauderdale Tourism is excited to be hosting the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Championship presented by Cabela’s fishing tournament in 2018, 2019 and 2020.  We are excited to continue this relationship as the tournament has continuously grown over the years as we have hosted it.  We look forward to showing off our community to the hundreds of collegiate anglers who visit and fish the beautiful Tennessee River,” said Suzie Shoemaker, Manager of Sport /Event Sales.
The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Cabela’s is a week-long event that is one of the largest collegiate bass fishing events in the nation. The Championship week will take place May 22-25, 2018 and includes the Yamaha Angler Appreciation Night, a Flip, Pitch, &  Cast Competition, Sponsor Appreciation Registration Banquet, as well as much more to include products, prizes and scholarships awarded to top finishers. Over 175 teams from schools across the nation come to compete for the Championship as well as vying to win the Cabela’s School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia Title.
