Wiley X Joins the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series as an Official Sponsor

SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 3, 2020) – The Association of Collegiate Anglers is proud to announce a new partnership between Wiley X Inc. and the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series for the 2020 season.  The sponsorship will include a discount program designed specifically for college anglers, as well as products to be used in a variety of prize packages and giveaways.

“As a family-owned company, we understand the importance of nurturing the next generation and couldn’t be prouder to expand our support of young anglers by joining the Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. This partnership will allow us to give these athletes every advantage their professional peers have — ANSI-certified protective eyewear combined with our latest lens technology like our new Captivate(TM) polarized lenses which were seven years in the making. This technology eliminates glare and blocks harmful blue-violet light along with confusing light waves within the color spectrum.  It’s a game-changer that these emerging anglers will love.”  – MYLES FREEMAN, PRESIDENT OF SALES, WILEY X.

Wiley X Inc. was founded by Myles Freeman Sr., a proud U.S. Veteran in 1987 with a single premise – provide superior protective eyewear to the brave men and women who defend our country.  A mission that started on the world’s battlefields has since expanded to law enforcement, harsh work environments and outdoor activities in which eye protection is paramount.  Wiley X products meet the highest standards for safety & optical clarity and are designed to endure the most extensive product testing in the industry.

As a part of the partnership between the ACA and Wiley X Inc., Wiley X will provide a discount program to anglers and teams competing on the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series.  All anglers will be eligible for a 30% discount on all sunglasses.  If an entire team commits to wearing Wiley X sunglasses, team members will receive a discount of 50% on product.  View the full line of Wiley X products by visiting their website.
