‘The Direction’ Offers $1,000 Scholarships to College Anglers

 

In partnership with T-H Marine, and other great partners, The Direction is offering $1,000 scholarships to youth anglers between the age of 17-22 years old that participate at any level of competitive fishing.  A total of five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded that can be used for students’ tuition at a college, trade school, or any career type education.  More details can be found below:

 

Through the Partnership of terrific companies and “The Direction” we have put together an opportunity for high school Juniors/Seniors, Trade school/attendees and college students (ages 17-22) to receive a $1000 scholarships to the school of choice.

We will award these scholarships to 5 individuals who participate in competitive Bass Fishing at any level. If you’re on a fishing team or individually compete you are eligible to apply.
The Direction and participating companies have created this program to encourage youth to participate in competitive Bass Fishing to encourage young men and women to join high school and college bass fishing teams. The skills that youth have learned from competition and joining teams are skills that they will use for a lifetime. So if you know a student who is eligible please encourage them to apply.

Eligibility is Simple:
• You are between 17-22
• You are a high school junior or senior, attend a trade school, or area college student
• You must be actively competing in competitive bass fishing at any level.

Final application date is September 27, 2020.

This means if you fish tournaments individually you can apply, if you are a high school student or college bass team member you can apply

*If you are one of the finalists documentation will be required for eligibility.
