The Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley is one of the premier events put on by the Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA). Due to high water levels on Kentucky Lake earlier this year, the Big Bass Bash was moved to the fall. 350 college anglers have been anticipating the start of the 2019-2020 season on the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series, and it will all begin in Paris, TN and Henry County at this two-day big bass format event.

The 2019 Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley is a two-day event that will consist of four weigh-in sessions each day. Anglers will be going out in search of the biggest fish possible to claim top prize. The Top 10 in each session will earn a prize, and the overall winner will earn 1,000 points for their school to count towards the race for Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.

Kentucky Lake is one of the premier fisheries in the nation. Every year it attracts thousands of anglers from all across the country to Paris, TN and Henry County to try their luck on this Tennessee River impoundment. Fall fishing will be in full effect this week. Anglers are reporting a strong topwater bite and are catching fish in a variety of ways. Some are even predicting that the winning fish will weigh over eight pounds.
