The Arkansas Tech team Mat and John Foster win the 2022 AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open on Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, AR! The duo held on to their day 1 lead and weighed 11.53 pounds for a total of 27.09 pounds for the weekend! Congrats to Mat and John Foster on the win and the Arkansas Tech team on their Bass Pro Shops School of the Year points the team collected this week! Thank you Russellville for hosting us this weekend!

Drury University’s 4th place team of Brock and Dylan checking in with their third keeper. The report from one of our ACA camera crews comes in during a slow period of fishing. Reports have slowed as the morning bite has seemed to shut off. Pictured is the Day 1 leading The Arkansas Tech team of Mat and John Foster moving around the river system looking for an upgrade. Other anglers seem to be doing the same.

The Arkansas Tech first place team of Mat and John Foster are tearing em up! The team recovered quickly from their lost fish and now have 4 fish for an estimated 7 pounds!

The Arkansas Tech third place team of Remington and Jude are on the board with their first fish of the day! The morning fishing reports are looking great this morning on Dardanelle. Check out the live weigh in on the Outdoor Action Tv app!

The Arkansas Tech first place team of Mat and John Foster are on the board with 2 keepers! The team doubled up and now have two fish in the well for roughly 3 pounds!

The McKendree University’s 2nd place team of Colsyn and Lane who caught 2 good ones quick are quick to run their Nitro to a new spot. Only an hour after putting a few nice fish in the box the duo is moving around an ACA camera crew reports. In interviews at weigh in yesterday, the team made it sound as if this was the game plan for today.

The Arkansas Tech team of Mat and John Foster that started the day leading the event has lost a good one at the boat an ACA camera crew reports. There seems to be a great morning bite this morning, we’re looking to see who will be able to take an advantage of it. The team of Mat and John Foster currently have 0 in the boat after losing this one.

It hadn’t even been 5 minutes since the last boat left take off this morning when an ACA camera crew reported the McKendree University’s 2nd place team of Colsyn and Lane have two good keepers in the boat. The top water bite has been talked about by most anglers at this weeks event and the duo was in an early flight so they were able to take an advantage of it!

They are off! All 212 Collegiate Bass teams have began fishing this morning! These anglers day will be 2 hours shorter than day 1 of the competition. The first flight is due back in at 1PM today. Catch all the weigh in action live at 1:00 on the Outdoor Action TV app!

The anglers are in the water and ready for take off this morning for Day 2 of the AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open on Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, AR! Take off begins at 7:00AM. Anglers have a shorter day today as the first fight is due in at 1:00! Good luck to all of our anglers!

Good morning from Day 2 of the AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open on Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, AR!  Today is the final day of tournament competition and anglers are competing for over $20,000 in prizes and contingencies, as well as double points to count towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.  Stay tuned to the blog for live updates throughout the day!
