Garmin Renews Partnership with the ACA and the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series in 2019
The Association of Collegiate Anglers is pleased to announce Garmin International, Inc. is continuing its support of the 2019 Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. As a series sponsor, Garmin will continue to reach collegiate anglers with their new lineup of fishing electronics and enjoy extensive promotion with collegiate anglers throughout the nation at numerous events as well as on through the television series.
The ACA and the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series have been grateful to have Garmin as a leading series sponsor since the very first season of the collegiate series fourteen years ago. As part of their continued partnership, Garmin will continue its discount programs designed exclusively for collegiate anglers competing in college fishing events.
“Garmin is excited to continue its long-time support of the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series,” said David Dunn, Garmin Director of Marine Sales and Marketing. “We recognize that the future of fishing is in our youth and there’s no better way to help cultivate that passion than to invest in them. The younger anglers are growing up with Garmin and they’re leveraging Garmin’s industry-leading technology to become better anglers and pursue their dreams – that’s something we’re really proud of.”
“Garmin is leader in support of bass fishing as well as the outdoors in general. The lineup of Garmin products at a wide range of pricing options has afforded college anglers a wide range of options when it comes to rigging their boats. In addition, Garmin has continued to grow its support of college fishing with a variety of programs to include discount, contingency programs as well as their own college fishing team,” said Wade Middleton, President of CarecoTV, and Director of the Association of Collegiate Anglers. “It continues to be an honor to call them our partners of this series.”
Collegiate anglers will continue to enjoy a generous discount when purchasing Garmin products to help them navigate waters, roadways, or trail ways. The discount program details can be found on line at the Discounts and Incentives page on the Collegiate Bass Championship website.
In addition, anglers using Garmin products during select college fishing events are eligible for a variety of contingency prizes. Anglers using Garmin gear on their boats have a chance to win prizes as part of the Garmin Grand program. Garmin will also continue its Garmin College Fishing Team and will be selecting top college anglers to represent them on the water at collegiate events nationwide during the 2019 season.
