The ACA’s annual Angler & Sponsor Appreciation Banquet is one of the most anticipated events of Championship Week.  Anglers have the opportunity to meet with ACA series partners and receive free swag.  One of the companies present to support anglers will be Sunline.  Sunline will again be set up with its free spooling station.  Anglers can bring a reel to the meeting on Wednesday night to spool up a reel with free Sunline.

The 2025 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops will be comprised of a field of 200 teams.  Each boat competing in the event will receive a free snack bag.  Snack bags are presented by Bass Pro Shops.  Special thanks to Bass Pro Shops for their support of the ACA and all of the college anglers!

Thousands of dollars in prizes and contingencies are on the line this week.  One of those contingencies is Garmin Tournament Rewards. The top placing angler of a Garmin-sponsored fishing tournament, that is part of the tournament rewards program, from a boat equipped exclusively with mounted Garmin marine electronics. Will be awarded $500 as part of Garmin Tournament Rewards. Additionally, the top placing angler with a Garmin Force Trolling Motor, will be awarded $500. Canada tournament winners will be paid in U.S. dollars. Qualifying tournaments must have 20 boats or more participating. The Garmin Tournament Rewards is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

This year’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops will mark the historic 20th National Championship for the Association of Collegiate Anglers.  The ACA hosted its first National Championship in 2006.  The nationally televised, no-entry-fee event boasts an elite field of 200 boats  The Association of Collegiate Anglers hosted its first National Championship event in 2006.  The event has grown into a 200 boat field of the nation’s most elite teams competing for more than $30,000 in prizes and contingencies.

Championship Week for the ACA is one of the biggest events of the year for college fishing.  Not only do hundreds of teams from all across the country travel to compete in this prestigious event, many of the ACA’s series partners are on-hand to support anglers and provide them with free swag to add to their fishing arsenal. 

The Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops is also the ACA’s final event of the 2024-25 season on the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series.  The triple points tournament will be the final ACA event to count towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia for the 2024-25 campaign.

Weather is a key element to keep an eye on throughout the week.  Temperatures, wind, clouds, and more will dictate how the fish set up and behave throughout competition. 

Currently, the weather pattern is forecasted to be fairly consistent.  High temperatures are projected to average in the low 80’s, partly cloudy, and variable winds each day.  A steady weather pattern like this will allow anglers to anticipate what they discover in practice to hold up throughout the tournament.
