Registration for the Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash Presented by Berkley to Close Friday, March 4

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Registration for the 2016 Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash Presented by Berkley on Kentucky Lake in Paris, Tennessee will close this coming Friday, March 4. Anglers will be able to continue to register online up until the closing time at 5p.m. on Friday, March 4.

The Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series made history at Kentucky Lake in Paris, Tennessee during the 2015 Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash Presented by Berkley hosting a total of 294 anglers; however, registration numbers confirm that the 2016 event will exceed that with an estimated field size between 350 and 400 anglers. Since this event is not a capped event, schools are able to send as many team members to compete in this event as they choose. Anglers have the chance to win in eight total weigh-in sessions that each pay down to ten places.

Along with eight hourly weigh-ins, anglers have the chance to earn additional contingency money through the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series’ Discounts and Incentives Page. A schedule of events for the Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash Presented by Berkley is as follows:

Monday, March 7th – Thursday, March 10th: Official Practice during safe light Friday,

Friday, March 11th FINAL Practice day:  Safe light – 3pm

Angler Check-in 5 – 7pm

Dinner 5 – 7pm Pre-tournament Meeting 7pm (Mandatory)

Saturday, March 12th Day 1: Safe Light to 3:00pm Session 4 closes at 3:30pm.

Sunday, March 13th Day 2: Safe Light to 3:30pm Session 4 closes at 3:30pm.
