Back to School 101: Rapala

The seventh and final lesson of the “Back to School 101” series will feature Rapala.  Rapala joined the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series as a partner earlier this summer.  They are deeply rooted in the fishing industry, and we are excited to feature these three brands: Rapala, Suffix, and VMC.  As is the case with other new sponsors joining the premier college trail, Rapala sees a great deal of value in the youth of the sport.

Their recent “Get Action” campaign is targeted at the younger audience.  This continues to prove Rapala’s dedication to the newer generations.  “Our new partnership with the ACA Collegiate Bass Fishing Series is designed to help strengthen our communication and support to all their anglers throughout the season.  This is going to be fun,” said Matt Jensen, Director of Marketing for Rapala USA.

Rapala Discount Program

The ACA partnership with Rapala promotes products including VMC, Suffix, and Rapala.  Anglers competing in ACA ran events will qualify for a discount code from Rapala.  You can submit for a code here.

Rapala also has a current back to school themed VIP code that is active now.  You can gain access to this one-time usage 30% off code by emailing college@carecotv.com.  This is a great opportunity for students to gear up for the new season.  With the first event roughly a month away, it is time to begin preparing to compete in the Big Bass Bash.

It is great to have Rapala on as a partner with the trail.  Anglers will see many benefits come from this relationship.  Rapala Pro Staff members will be featured on the podcast, great giveaway promotions containing product will be given out, and other Rapala, VMC and Suffix products will be included in tournament prize packages.  Stay tuned to the podcast for updates from Rapala, and to get the latest information regarding promotions and giveaways.  Visit the Rapala website to view their wide range of products.
