Yamaha Marine Continues Sponsorship with the ACA and Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series in 2018

Yamaha Marine Continues Sponsorship

Yamaha Marine and the Association of Collegiate Anglers have announced their renewed partnership for the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. In addition to extensive promotion of Yamaha Marine products, the 2018 sponsorship includes the annual Yamaha Angler Appreciation Night taking place during the 2018 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Cabela’s this May.

Collegiate anglers will continue to enjoy increased support through the Yamaha’s Contingency Program, including bonuses at the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship. Anglers can continue to look forward to enhanced payouts, with Yamaha awarding up to $1,000 for a victory if the boat used in competition is powered by a Yamaha motor and the anglers display the Yamaha logo on their jerseys. In the event the winners aren’t participating in the program, the highest finishers to display the Yamaha logo on their jerseys are still eligible for a $500 bonus per event, regardless of motor brand.  Complete details can be found on the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series Discounts and Incentives page.

“The Association of Collegiate Anglers has done a great job organizing and promoting these events,” said Frank Wilhelm, Yamaha Marine Group Advertising Manager. “We are pleased to be supporting the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series again this year.”

Collegiate anglers competing in the 2018 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship in Florence, Alabama, will once again get to enjoy Yamaha Angler Appreciation Night. That includes spending time with top touring pros, sponsors booths, demo boat rides, seminars as well as the ABU Garcia Flip, Pitch, and Cast Contest’ giving collegiate anglers the opportunity to test their skills and a chance to win additional prizes! All activities will take place at McFarland Park.

“Yamaha’s continued support of the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series has been instrumental in allowing us to grow and develop our collegiate programs and events,” said Wade Middleton, ACA Director, and President of CarecoTV.  “Their onsite support at the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series has been remarkable from the beginning and we look forward to building upon that in 2018.  From mechanical service, to informative demos, Yamaha takes fantastic care of these collegiate anglers and plays a big part in making our championship like no other.”
