Next Stop:  Lake Texoma and the Texas Collegiate Challenge presented by Abu Garcia

The third major televised event of the 2017 Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series is now only days away. The Texas Collegiate Challenge presented by Abu Garcia will be held on Lake Texoma on the Red River between Texas and Oklahoma. Known as one of the best smallmouth bass lakes in the area, Lake Texoma is sure to be an exciting event. Anglers will have the opportunity to fish for largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass and a wide variety of techniques and patterns will be used throughout the event.

With only two events left in the 2017 season, the Cabela’s School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia race is on all of the angler’s minds.  The Texas Collegiate Challenge will be a “Double Points Event” thus allowing the top two highest placing teams from each school to earn points towards the school of the year title.

The Texas Collegiate Challenge presented by Abu Garcia is a one-day, two-angler team format. A team consists of no more than two anglers fishing from the same boat. No angler will be allowed to fish alone. The full field will compete on Sunday. Winners will be determined by the heaviest accumulated weight per team.  Follow the link below for all tournament information: Angler Packet
