We are looking for a full-time Sponsorship Marketing Specialist for our headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. Essential functions for this role include:
Other responsibilities include maintaining a level of professional knowledge of sponsorship options available to Garmin, providing research findings as requested by Garmin management, and maintaining user expertise in the operations of all relevant Garmin products and be able to present the features/benefits of those products at sanctioned events.
A Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, advertising, communication, journalism or another related field from a four year college or university plus a minimum of 3 years marketing activation and/or promotions execution experience is required for this role.
Qualified candidates must also be detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision, possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment, and demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability and willingness to travel plus demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is also required.
Candidates with experience or interest in fishing and boating are preferred.
