DUO COLLEGE BASS SCHOLARSHIP FUND ESTABLISHED FOR YOUNG ANGLERS
DAVIE, Fla., July 11, 2013 — Fishing tackle distributor DUO North America LLC has started the DUO North America College Bass Scholarship Fund to award two students $2,500 each toward pursuing their college education and career path into the sport fishing industry.
DUO North America LLC is very focused on bringing more youth into the sport fishing industry while providing an opportunity for young anglers to gain support from companies within this industry.
The fund is open to applicants who wish to pursue a college education, with the career goal of being involved in the sport fishing industry, carry a 75% average or better, are active in tournament fishing via clubs, school teams and community involvement. Eligible anglers are asked to submit an application along with an essay to enroll. Interested anglers can request an application form via email at scholarship@duonorthamerica.com.

About the Fund
The program is open to all students entering college or university in 2013, along with students in their first year of school this coming fall. The deadline for application submission is December 1, 2012. A panel of industry experts will independently review and vote on the applicants, and the two successful applicants will be announced January 1, 2013.
The two anglers who are awarded the scholarship funds, are also able to use the funds for years 2 to 4 inclusive providing they continue to meet the criteria. Applications and full criteria details are available upon request.
