CABELA'S COLLEGIATE CUP PROGRAM REWARDS COLLEGE BASS ANGLERS

Cabela's The World's Foremost Outfitter once again demonstrated their support of collegiate bass fishing by creating a contingency award program available to all anglers participating in the 2009 Association of Collegiate Anglers and BoatU.S. Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship series of events.

"We are pleased to support the next generation of anglers through Cabela's Collegiate Cup," said Chris Sprangers, Cabela's Marketing Manager. "We want to do our part to encourage these participants and reward them for their dedication to fishing. Their passion for the sport is contagious and bodes well for the future of fishing."

In order to be eligible for the awards, anglers displayed the Cabela's logo on their boats and clothing during the events. At each regional event sanctioned by the Association of Collegiate Anglers, Cabela's awarded a $375.00 gift card to the highest finishing qualified team. Winners of the regional events were as follows:

"Cabela's has shown great support for our collegiate bass fishing program since day one and are one of our most valuable partners,"said Wade Middleton, BoatU.S. Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Tournament Director. "Without their efforts the sport of College Bass Fishing would not be where it is today as they've helped make it possible for these anglers to pursue their fishing dreams."
