Stearns Floats Its Way To The Top
Stearns began developing stylish and comfortable personal flotation devices (PFDs) in the 1960s as an alternative to "the orange horse collar preservers" typically used at the time. Stearns has been protecting the safety of anglers ever since. For the second year, Stearns is supporting the BoatU.S. National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship by providing innovative PFDs to collegiate anglers.
"All fishing enthusiasts know they need their rod, reel, and tackle. At Stearns, we also want them to add inflatable PFDs to their 'must have' list," said Delaina Renfro, Stearns brand manager. "The low profile design of the Stearns Inflatable PFD doesn't get in the way of making a perfect cast." It can also save your life, which is the main reason Stearns got involved in the NCBFC.
"Every angler should wear a Stearns Inflatable PFD to ensure personal safety at all times on the water and in the boat. They can concentrate on finding winning patterns and catching big bass!"
Stearns is also providing a $250 travel stipend to each team, and every angler gets to keep their Stearns inflatable PFD.
"We're excited to be part of a growing event that encourages safety on the water and fishing. it's a perfect combination."
